The ADCES Research Committee partners across the organization to support the organization's initiatives with evidence-based research. Our current priorities are:
The 2022 research agenda aims to guide researchers to design and test hypotheses which will support development and implementation of evidenced-based best practices for diabetes care and education services.
Research points to the DCES as the most effective clinician to provide support to people with diabetes on their healthcare journey, implementing lifestyle change and technology into everyday life.
There are a multitude of opportunities to present your research via sessions and posters at the ADCES annual conference. Check back in early 2023 for opportunities at ADCES23.
We offer grants to further our research goals, including a post-doctoral fellowship program supporting the career development of emerging leaders and funding for community programs.
Poster presentations from ADCES annual conferences and visual abstracts within the August issue of The Science of Diabetes Self-Management and Care.
