Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere Standalone is Retired
Thank you for being a loyal customer of Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere Standalone. We want to take this opportunity to thank you for your business in previous years and to inform you that Dynamsoft has taken the hard decision to retire this product.
Dynamsoft’s mission is to provide software developers with helpful tools to make their development easier and more efficient. With over 20 years of experience, our product offerings have adapted to the increasing demand for digital adoption and transformation, and we became experts in imaging and recognition SDKs. In recent years, it has become increasingly challenging to maintain the legacy products without compromising the high quality product and service standard we always strive for. So, we reviewed our product portfolio along with our long term strategy and decided to stop maintaining SourceAnywhere Standalone.
To this end, Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere Standalone will be retired as of Dec 31st, 2025. As a valued customer, what this means for you:
- Your perpetual product license(s) will continue to work as usual.
- You can still renew your annual maintenance contract through Dec 31st, 2025.
- You can still purchase additional perpetual user licenses, with support and maintenance valid through Dec 31st, 2025.
- Dynamsoft will no longer provide any technical support after retirement.
About Data Migration
Please note that we do not offer a dedicated data migration tool to transfer historical data from the SourceAnywhere SQL database to your new version control system. Instead, we recommend using the SourceAnywhere Client to perform a “Get” or “Get Latest” operation to retrieve the latest or specific historical versions of your project. You can then manually import these into your new version control system.
As you hold a permanently valid license for SourceAnywhere, you can continue to maintain it on a designated machine, ensuring access to historical data whenever needed.
