Prior Authorizations, Step Therapy and Appeals
Step therapy or “fail first” policies can adversely impact people with diabetes by limiting access to prescribed medication, delaying appropriate treatment and directly contributing to negative outcomes. DiabetesSisters has created a resource to help understand and navigate this process.
